How I got started in therapy…
In my 20’s I started dreaming of being a therapist. An art therapist. I remember the moment when I realized that was what I was meant to do. It was one of those aha moments, so cool, I loved it.
I’m an artist who likes to meditate, and learn, and grow. I am incredibly fascinated by how and why humans are the way they are. And not just because it’s cool and fun. But because I have felt suffering and pain and what it’s like to live when you can’t make any sense of your relationship to life or to food. I wanted to understand what was causing my pain, and what I could do about it.
By some miracle all that learning and searching and growing afforded me the ability to heal from binge eating. I felt and continue to feel so fortunate that I am no longer living that trap. But I know of so many who still wish to heal themselves and their relationship to food, but struggle. From this my passion for helping others heal eating disorders through therapy was born.

A little more about me. ♥︎
I currently live in and practice out of Berkeley, California.I love calling Berkeley my home.
With my free time I love to enjoy all that living in the San Francisco Bay area has to offer including: hiking, beaches, biking, cool roller skate crews, amazing food spots, amazing DANCE parties, farmers markets, and of course taking a stroll around Lake Merritt. I live with my two young sons who continuously fill my heart with joy.
First Steps:
The first step of starting therapy is a big one. I full heartedly understand.
Here is what I can say. Therapy makes a difference. Therapy can reduce that challenge, bring more peace, more joy, and gosh darn it a little more ease.
So even if it’s not me, I strongly encourage starting up therapy.
Please feel free to reach out if you want to get that started with me.
